Bonin to Join L.A. Police Commission at Community Meeting

City Councilman Mike Bonin will join Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck and the new members of the Los Angeles Police Commission at a community meeting at Daniel Webster Middle School in West LA on Tuesday evening.

“The new commission and the chief are holding community meetings around the city to hear from you, and this is our opportunity to speak up for our neighborhoods,” Bonin said in an email to constituents, urging them to attend the meeting.

In addition to comments from Bonin and reports from the Chief, Executive Director and Inspector General, the special commission meeting will feature an opportunity for community members to submit official comments to the commission about their neighborhood safety priorities.
