Today Is the Last Day to Register to Vote in March 8 Election

Residents can register or re-register by mail or in person.

Today is the last day to register to vote in the March 8 election. To register or re-register to vote you must be a citizen of the United States and 18 years old by Election Day. You must re-register to vote if you have moved or changed your name. 

Residents can register or re-register to vote either in person or via mail. If you choose to register in person, you can do so only at the following place:

Given that it’s unlikely you’ll make it all the way there from Mar Vista before day’s end, you can also register by mail. Simply fill in a voter registration form at any one of the following local offices:

You don’t have to pick up a registration form in Mar Vista; you can get one at most Los Angeles city or county buildings, libraries, post offices, fire stations or Department of Motor Vehicle offices.
