Venice Council Meeting Tonight: What's on the Agenda

The VNC meets tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss a new restaurant and other projects.

The Venice Neighborhood Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss several items on the monthly meeting agenda. Below are just a few that the VNC will review.

  • Councilman Bill Rosendahl’s staff will give an update on the pilot program to house homeless people’s belongings in a storage container on Windward Circle while they stay in a shelter.
  • LAPD Pacific Division officers will give an update on Venice crime and discuss monthly crime statistics. For a list of recent crimes in Venice, check out Patch’s crime maps.
  • The council will be discussing a proposed new single-family dwelling at 2715 S. Ocean Front Walk. 
  • A restaurant is being proposed on a 5,500-square-foot lot located at 609 Rose Ave. The restaurant would be open from 7 a.m.-11 p.m Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-12 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m.-10 p.m. on Sunday.
