Venice Neighborhood Council Recruiting Candidates

Over a dozen positions open.

Venice residents wishing to join the Venice Neighborhood Council board must file their nomination papers by Sept. 28.

The elections will be held on Oct. 28 for the following positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer, Community Outreach Officer, Land Use and Planning Chair, 13 Community Officers and one Factual Basis Community Officer.

Nomination papers can be either filed online or by faxing a form to 818-582-2849, emailing elections@empowerla.org or mailing the form to Department of Neighborhood Empowerment – Elections Division, 14410 Sylvan Street, 4th fl., Van Nuys, CA 91401.

One year, long ago, Alice Coltrane performed. Anyone know the year? Definitely in the 70's.
