Where to Vote in the Feb. 15 Special Elections

Mar Vista has a total of 16 polling places.

On Tuesday, Mar Vista residents will be able to cast their ballots in the special election for the 28th State Senate District Seat in one of 16 different polling places listed below.

The special election is being held following the posthumous re-election of Sen. Jenny Oropeza in November. Oropeza died on October 20 following complications from an abdominal blood clot. There are seeking to fill Oropeza's position, including Mar Vista's Mark Lipman.

To date, 467, 493 people have registered to vote in the election and the estimated cost of the election is $1.7 million.

If no candidate receives a majority of the vote after Tuesday's ballots are counted, a runoff will be held for the top two vote getters in a Special General Election on April 19.
