Venice Elementary Schools Get Mixed Results on State Tests

Coeur D'Alene had the most consistently high scores on the California Standards Tests, although Broadway Elementary's fourth-graders had stellar math marks.

The California Department of Education has released the standardized testing scores for the last school year, with mixed results for Venice's elementary campuses.

had the most consistently high scores in Venice, although had stellar math scores, with 100 percent of its fourth-graders scoring either proficient or advanced.

Although more than half of students scored proficient or advanced in English-language arts and mathematics, they were the lowest performing group of Venice's elementary schools, surpassing state averages with only the fourth-grade results.
