Cross Country Run for Boston Marathon Victims Gets Underway in Venice
A 3,300 mile relay to raise money for 'One Fund' began at Venice Beach Friday morning. It will end on June 30 in Boston.
'One Run For Boston' began in Venice at 10 a.m. Hundreds of runners are taking part in the relay that will cross 14 different states before ending in Boston on Sun. June 30.
The relay will travel through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and finally, Massachusetts.
The 3,300-mile route has been divided into 319 separate stages. Runners can sign up to run a stage via the One Run For Boston Website (www.onerunforboston.org).
