The sixth annual "Rumble in Venice" boxing showcase will take place Sunday at Venice Beach and the card will feature the UCLA and USC amateuar boxing teams, according to media reports.
The boxing card will have 25 matches that will be free to the public at Muscle Beach from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to boxingnews24.com. USC boxing team head coach Ramon Espada will co-host the event with Joe Wheatley Production, according to 8countnews.com.
There also will be a "Raw Bench Press" contest Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Muscle Beach and a "Sumo Classic" also is scheduled Saturday at Venice Beach starting at 1 p.m. Both events are free to the public.
On Monday, the Muscle Beach International Classic will be held for amateur bodybuilders and also will be free to the public. Pre-judging starts at 10 a.m. and the finals at 1 p.m.
